About our Publication Scheme

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, all public authorities are required to adopt a Model Publication Scheme and publish information proactively. Lolworth Parish Meeting has adopted the Model Publication Scheme approved by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

This scheme commits our Meeting to making certain classes of information routinely available to the public.

How to Access Information

Before making a formal FOI request, please check our website,  https://www.lolworthparishmeeting.gov.uk/ to see if the information is already publicly available. The information you are looking for may already be listed in our Guide to Information

Charges for Information

While most information on our website is free, we may charge a small fee to cover the costs of printing, copying, or postage for hard-copy documents. Please view our Schedule of Fees for exact costs before placing your request.

Formal Freedom of Information Requests

If the information is not readily available through this scheme, you can submit a formal FOI request. To do this, your request must

  • Be in writing (post or email)
  • Include your name and a contact address/email
  • Clearly describe the information you require
